“Our love story began at Florida State University in the summer of 2013. We met and instantly became best friends, our love then blossomed from there. He always called me his sweetheart and in 2015 I was voted the Sweetheart of his fraternity! (So much love for the awesome brothers of Sig Ep!) After graduating from FSU in 2016, we both went on to pursue full-time careers in Tallahassee while I completed my Masters degree. To celebrate my Masters graduation we planned a week-long vacation with our newest addition, Westcott. Our vacation began in Hilton Head South Carolina, Garrett proposed with a family heirloom Sunday evening after a romantic beach picnic. When he popped the question I was in my PJ's, no makeup on, hair in a bun, discussing the epic Game of Thrones episode we just watched AKA my most natural state: that is how I knew he was truly the one. He loves me for everything I am and everything he knows I can, and will, become. After five wonderful years of dating, navigating adulting, and co-parenting a fur baby we are so excited to begin the next chapter in our love story as a married couple! As always, Go Noles!”
